In Term 2 Week 2 we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. Today we read a story called Stick and Stone and it was about friendship. I chose to build a little flag to show my friendship to my friends using sticks and stones. My class and I have been reading Charlotte's web we had to do a reading active about Charlotte's web and I did Wilbur's personality.
We have coded our own unplugged program of the five stages of the cicada life-cycle. We have included some obstacles too. The goal is to be able to have someone follow our codes to navigate our life-cycle by getting from stage 1 to stage 5 and avoiding the obstacles. Here are some examples of our coded life-cycle.

We all understand the importance of being safe in and around the water. This term we have been lucky to swim most days.
