Creating a game
This week, to end our procedure writing topic, we have been creating our own games. I made a worms and ladders game. My theme was worms and ladders.
- Get 2 or more people to play.
- Set the game up.
- Roll the dice and move that number of spaces.
- If you land on a worm go back.
- If you land on a ladder, go up the ladder.
- Continue until someone reaches the finish line.

My speech
My speech topic is about pets. I chose this topic because I love pets. When I presented my speech I felt happy. What I did well was that I had good reasons. What I could have done better is write more detail in my speech.
Here is my speech
Speech Topic: Pets
Have you ever wondered what life would be like without pets? Well I have.
Life would be boring because pets keep you company, they play with you and
they can protect you when you're in big trouble or getting robbed.
A pet is a tamed animal kept for companionship. Pets are cute and cuddly.
So please if you have a pet don’t be mean or THEY WILL GET YOU BACK.
Firstly pets keep you company when you’re lonely.
Cats snuggle you in bed.
A dog is good and keeps you company while you stay healthy.
They get you moving because they want to move.
Pets snuggle up with you
on the couch because pets love you and they don’t want to let you go.
Secondly pets play with you when you’re bored.
Dogs like to play fetch with you and they bring the ball back so you can throw it again.
Cats like to play with balls of wool or squeaky toys.
Some cats like attacking things that move around like the vacuum cleaner.
Some cats scratch you when they're angry or just playing around.
Finally pets protect you when somebody is robbing you.
Dogs can help by barking and growling at the stranger. Other pets like cats can bite and scratch.
Cats may hiss at the bad guys.
Some pets can be dangerous and scary and it can scare the bad guys away.
That's why we need pets or you will end up lonely, bored or robbed.
Pets love humans and humans love pets. Some pets can be very old and an
important part of the family.
So if you don’t have a pet I think you need to GET ONE!!!
